make a wish

As we complete yet another arbitrarily calculated orbit 'round our dear sun, the mind turns to the ever-looming spectre of 2012. What will this long anticipated year bring to humanity? Many claim to know, but none have the answer. All we can do is project our hopes and wishes outward...with the expectation that something miraculous will dawn once again on this beautiful earth.
It is in this spirit that I ask for your assistance in completing a very special project. The Oramix Competition challenges participants to remix the sounds of Daphne Oram in creating global music fit for interstellar transmission. For my track "Little Wishes" I'd like to include YOU speaking about your wish for the new Age. It doesn't have to be more than a few words. Wish for WHATEVER you want. I'd like to get people from all over the world, so if you know folks in far flung places, please send them here. Use the dropbox below to send me your wish via Soundcloud. (Please make sure you grant me a Creative Commons license. There's really no money changing hands here. Even if we [you and me!] win the competition, The Science Museum owns the rights to the track. If I use your recording I will list you in the track credits.)
The song is almost mixed and all I need are your wishes. You can listen to a very rough demo here. Thank you and happy 2012!
